ABOUT UPCISB
The U.P. Co‑operative Institutional Service Board (UPCISB) is the statutory authority established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to oversee recruitment, service regulation, and personnel management in cooperative institutions across the state. Formed in 1972 under Section 122(1) of the U.P. Co‑operative Societies Act, 1965, the Board plays a pivotal role in ensuring transparency, fairness, and efficiency in staffing cooperative banks, federations, and societies.
Headquartered in Lucknow, UPCISB functions under the supervision of the Commissioner & Registrar, Co‑operative U.P.. The Board consists of a Chairman and two Members, supported by administrative staff, and operates with financial oversight from the state government.
