UPSSSC ASO Recruitment 2026 Exam Date – The Uttar
Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission conducted the Assistant
Statistical Officer (ASO) and Assistant Research Officer (ARO) exam on 26 July
2026. The test was held in offline mode across multiple centres in Uttar
Pradesh. The provisional answer key was released on 27 July 2026, and
candidates were allowed to submit objections until 3 August 2026. After
reviewing objections, the final answer key will be published, followed by the UPSSSC
ASO Result 2026, which is expected in August–September 2026. Shortlisted
candidates will then proceed to document verification before final selection.

UPSSSC ASO ARO RECRUITMENT 2026 SELECTION PROCESS
The selection of candidates shall be conducted through a two-tier process, culminating in document verification.
- Stage
I: Shortlisting (Merit-Based)
- Shortlisting
for the Main Written Examination shall be based exclusively on the normalized
marks obtained in the UPSSSC PET 2025. The Commission shall prepare a
merit list and call candidates in a ratio proportionate to the total
vacancies.
