The age criteria vary depending on the post but generally fall between 18 and 27 years. Relaxations are provided as per government norms: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC candidates 3 years, and PwBD candidates up to 10 years. Ex‑servicemen also enjoy concessions under central rules. This ensures inclusivity while maintaining suitability for physically demanding roles in BRO.
Candidates from General/OBC/EWS categories must pay ₹50–₹100 depending on the post, while SC, ST, PwBD, and women candidates are exempted from paying any fee. Payment can be made through online modes such as Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking, or UPI, ensuring accessibility for applicants nationwide.
The application process starting on 20 June 2026. The last date to apply online is 4 July 2026, and the fee payment deadline is also 4 July 2026. Admit cards will be issue soon, and the written examination and trade tests are scheduled for August-September 2026. Results will be declared later in the year on BRO’s official website.
