The maximum age limit for candidates applying through
this LDCE is 50 years as of the closing date of application. Age
relaxations are available as per government rules: SC/ST candidates get 5
years, OBC candidates 3 years, and PwBD candidates up to 10–15
years depending on category. Ex‑servicemen and departmental candidates also
enjoy concessions under central norms, ensuring inclusivity while maintaining
suitability for promotion.
Candidates from General/OBC/EWS categories must pay ₹100,
while SC, ST, PwBD, and women candidates are exempted from paying any
fee. Payment can be made online through Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking, or
UPI, making the process simple and accessible.
The notification was released in June 2026, with the application process starting on 25 June 2026. The last date to apply online is 16 July 2026, and the fee payment deadline is also 16 July 2026. Admit cards will be issue soon, and the examination is scheduled for July- August 2026. Results will be declared later in the year on SSC’s official website.
