UPPSC PCS Notification 2026-27 Group A, Group B Vacancies: The much-awaited notification for the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination 2026 has been officially released on June 25, 2026. This announcement marks the beginning of the recruitment drive for approximately 500 prestigious Group A and Group B vacancies, including the highly sought-after Deputy Collector, DSP, Block Development Officer (BDO) post. The Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university by the last date of application submission. UP PCS 2026-27 APPLICATION FEE

Candidates from the General, EWS, and OBC (Uttar Pradesh domicile) categories are required to pay Rs. 125/- (Rupees One Hundred Twenty Five Only), while those from SC and ST (Uttar Pradesh domicile) categories pay a reduced fee of Rs. 65/- (Rupees Sixty Five Only). Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are charged Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty Five Only), and Ex-Servicemen are fully exempted from payment as per government rules.

HOW TO APPLY—UPPSC PCS NOTIFICATION 2026-27 GROUP A, GROUP B VACANCIES

Stage 1 – OTR Authentication
- Click Apply Online → “Authenticate with OTR” - If you already have an OTR Number, enter it and authenticate via OTP or password. - If not, first register at https://otr.pariksha.nic.in to get your OTR number.
Stage 2 – Application Part‑2
- After Stage 1, the Applicant Dashboard opens. - Click Submit Details under Application Part‑2. - Fill correspondence address and select preferential qualifications (Yes/No) as per the post.
Stage 3 – Fee Payment
- After Stage 2, the Fee Confirmation Window appears. - Click “Proceed for Fee Payment” → Redirects to SBI MOPS portal. - Pay via Net Banking / Card Payment / Other Payment Modes.
Stage 4 – Final Submission
- After fee payment, return to dashboard. - Click Final Submit. - Take a printout of the application form & fee receipt for future reference.

UPPSC PCS 2026 NOTIFICATION IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION FOR CONDIDATE

  1. The date of birth will be accepted only as recorded in the High School Certificate. This certificate must be attached with the Main Examination application form. No other proof will be valid.
  2. Candidates must enclose self‑attested copies of marksheets, certificates, and degrees with the Main Examination application form to support their educational qualifications. Applications without these documents will be rejected.
  3. The benefit of reservation for physically handicapped candidates will be given only for posts identified by the Government for their sub‑category. A valid certificate issued by the prescribed Medical Officer/Specialist and countersigned by the Chief Medical Officer must be produced.
  4. Ex‑Army personnel must be discharged from service by the last date prescribed for receipt of applications.
  5. Details such as date, time, venue, and roll number of the examination will be communicated through e‑Admit Cards. Candidates must appear at the allotted centre; no change of centre will be allowed.
  6. The Commission reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate found guilty of malpractice (copying, indiscipline, misbehavior, canvassing). Such candidates may be debarred from current and future examinations. The U.P. Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024 will apply.
  7. In all communications with the Commission, candidates must mention the name of examination, advertisement number, OTR number, application ID, candidate’s name, date of birth, father’s/husband’s name, and roll number (if issued).
  8. Candidates selected for appointment will have to undergo a medical examination as prescribed before joining service.
