Q: Can someone with only 12th qualification join ISRO?
ISRO is hiring in 2026, and several notifications were released this July. There are 244 vacancies for administrative and support roles like Assistants, Junior Personal Assistants, Upper Division Clerks, and Stenographers, 92 posts for Scientists/Engineers, and 462 apprenticeship positions at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC). Most applications are open online until mid‑August 2026, while apprenticeships are through a walk‑in process.
Q: Can I get selected in ISRO without giving the test?
ISRO recruitment is strictly through written tests, skill tests, or GATE‑based shortlisting. Direct entry without an exam is not possible. Even apprenticeships require walk‑in interviews and document verification. ISRO has also issued warnings against fake job offers—so the only way to join is by applying through the official ISRO website (isro.gov.in) and clearing the required selection process.
