The maximum age limit for candidates applying through this LDCE is 50 years as of the closing date of application. Age relaxations are available as per government rules: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC candidates 3 years, and PwBD candidates up to 10–15 years depending on category. Ex‑servicemen and departmental candidates also enjoy concessions under central norms, ensuring inclusivity while maintaining suitability for promotion.

Candidates from General/OBC/EWS categories must pay ₹100, while SC, ST, PwBD, and women candidates are exempted from paying any fee. Payment can be made online through Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking, or UPI, making the process simple and accessible.
